ABOUT OUR CASA
El Patio Hostel is located two blocks from the heart of La Mariscal, Quito’s most entertainment and tourist diversity area. Our house is a typical nineteenth century colonial style building. Reformed but preserving its historical value, it has fully equipped suites, single, double, quadruple rooms, living room, breakfast room and kitchen so you can feel at home. Not only that, but many common places and activities where you can share with other travelers and locals all your experiences, like every good Hostel.
Why El Patio?
Why is it called El Patio? The main characteristic of these old houses in La Mariscal is that they have several courtyards that make the family lifestyle flourish around the house. Three patios to enjoy a refreshing morning or to receive the rays of Quito's sunset. El Patio is a place where we used to play as children, is where you go out if you want to breathe fresh air or where you can relax indoors. The perfect place to feel comfortable and meet people on your journey through Quito.
El Patio Hostel has beautifully furnished suites but also has shared rooms with solid wood beds, new mattresses, best-quality linens, free towels and big storage lockers. The hostel offers free wifi, tidy bathrooms with hot water, fully equipped kitchen, offering our guests a great value.
This beautifully remodeled colonial house features numerous common areas for socializing, dining, entertaining or simply relaxing. The garden and shaded courtyard are well maintained with local flora and fauna. Local artists have decorated the walls. El Patio Hostel is a house where you will feel like you are staying with friends at home.
